Janna Añonuevo Langholz (b. 1988) is an interdisciplinary artist, organizer, and occasional writer born and based at the site of the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. Her research primarily investigates the period of US colonization of the Philippines between 1898-1946 and its connection to the US Midwest and South where she has lived and worked. By engaging her immediate environments and communities, she hopes to gain deeper insight into the social, historical, and environmental forces that shape the world around her.
