As an Asian American woman artist I have long felt a mandate to produce political art. As the pandemic has unfolded and our democracy came under threat, we are being forced to recognize the interrelationships among the various challenges facing humankind,. We must look at these from a truly global perspective, and art can help to mobilize us to collective action.
