I am an author, educator, and speaker who has taught classes, led workshops, and delivered lectures at leading public and private institutions in the U.S. and overseas to encourage individuals to write and in so doing, empower themselves to creatively transform their lives.

Stephanie Han’s short fiction collection Swimming in Hong Kong (Willow Springs Books) won the Paterson Fiction Prize, was the sole finalist for the AWP Grace Paley Prize for Short Fiction, and won awards from Asian Books Blog, South China Morning Post, Nimrod International Journal, and other publications. She has received grants and fellowships from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, PEN-USA, VONA, and was the inaugural English Literature PhD from City University of Hong Kong. She has published across the genres and frequently lectures on literature, writing, gender, and pollyculturalism.
