I like making things-- the figuring out, the hands-on, sometimes messy process of creating. I love re-using discarded materials and experimenting with different techniques.
Bio
Terry Tsu is a self-taught inter-disciplinary artist.
She was born in NY, spent her formative years in the Philippines and returned to the United States for college and graduate school, settling in the San Francisco Bay Area. Between work and raising a family, she took classes in painting, sculpture and ceramics and taught herself fiber arts and woodworking. In 2017 she dedicated herself full-time to painting. In 2023 she began creating 3D work.
Her work has been exhibited in multiple national juried shows and appears in private collections throughout the US and Asia.
Tsu lives and works in Menlo Park, CA.
